Living Well Conference 2012

Mental Health Information

We provide information, support and education to people who are affected by mental illness, or who seek to improve their emotional wellbeing. We achieve this via 3 key programs; Facing Anxiety, Mental Health Promotion, and Mental Health Information.

Mental Health Services

We run the Mental Health Matters Awards, and coordinate Mental Health Month, seminars and conferences.  People can join groups to work on their anxiety, phobias, grief or loss. We can present at your school, community organisation or workplace.

Workshops

We are currently rolling out the 'Understanding Mental Health Promotion, Prevention and Early Intervention' workshop across NSW. The workshop is FREE.

The workshop explains the concepts behind mental health promotion, the prevention of mental ill-health (mental illness) and early intervention. Further, the module explains how these concepts are relevant to a range of settings and sectors in Australia. The workshop was developed by the Australian Network for Mental Health Promotion, Illness Prevention and Early Intervention (AUSEINET) as part of a National Workforce Development Strategy. Read more

These factors include a young person's relationship with parent's or care-givers, their involvement in their community, a special skill the young person may have, or their developing sense of identity.
